Michael had an off in the last race and couldn't get the
bike started for ages.
we missed the first two rounds of this series but
Michael was awarded the rider of the series Trophy and
also a Stefan Everts replica helmet which was given to
the club apparently by Everts at a recent Hawkstone park
meeting.

In the first race of the day after holeshotting I fell
of before the drop off, after finally getting my bike to
start I was off on a mission to catch the leading pack
which I did and on the second to last lap I took the
lead back.

redesigned and looked great
we couldn't wait for the days racing to begin.

The track was in top class condition as always and the
only worry was dust which the club did its best to keep
at bay. Michael cracked his frame jumping during the
second race and had to use his 04 bike for the last
race.
1st out of 17 racing 135 points in total.
Great days racing with us taking the honours in the
small wheels and the autos well done to my little
brother on your first win hope you have many more.

Back to Wooley for round three of the club championship
and it was dry for a change and as the day went on dust
was starting to be a problem but the club then watered
the track to help keep the dust down which made thinks
interesting on some of the corners.

Back to Wooley for the second round of the club
championship and it was dry for the first few races of
the day then the Towlaw climate came into play again
with a few showers that made the hardpack track pretty
slippy.

I had a big off in this race and couldn't get the bike
to start eventually it did but I was last and almost a
lap down I just rode and focused which paid off.

It was our first time to this track we arrived late
Sunday night so we didn't get to walk the
track until the morning. It was great with deep sand and
some good jumps.
due to small entries the bigwheels and small raced
together numbering 18 in all.

1st out of 9 racing in the smallwheels 132 points in

West Cumbria MXC Dean moor Lamplugh ,Round (3)
Back to the high moorland fells above Pica for the third
round and at last the weather was spot on for the days
racing and with a new clutch in the bike we hoped for a
good days racing.

after problems with our van we decided to only go
locally instead of practising at Doncaster.
Muddy Grange revisited lived up to its name, the track
was fine but the paddock was a complete mess.

Bymx Nationals Round (2) Low Gelt, Brampton.
Michael was to ride in the supports here as we had to
pull out of the main event earlier in the season.
The weather was against the club for this event it seems
it had rained constantly for two days before the
qualifying was due to start,
then Friday night it got worse as if it could.
Saturday all qualifying got completed and the first race
for the 65cc class got underway.
it was total chaos as the riders came up the finish hill
with only four managing to cross the finish to complete
one lap this resulted in the race getting red flagged
the club tried its best for over an hour and a half to
get the track sorted so that the race could be rerun but
the weather just got worse resulting in the event being
abandoned to be rescheduled at a later date.
when the date is released we will put it in the news
section of our site.

At last we are racing again and my race bike is ready
for action.
after 2 months off the bike and a complete strip down
and rebuild of the engine(Thanks Dave Twist) and the
frame powder coated by Candy Wheels we were set for the
start of the 2006 season.
